My best friend of 20 years is having her next birthday soon. I've known her practically my whole life and we've been celebrating each other's birthdays for nearly as long. She'll always manage to give me the best presents and cards out of all my friends and I will always fail and give her something she doesn't really want or care for. I want this year to be different though and I want to find her excellent funny gifts instead of failing like normal. Gifting for me is never easy but it's an important part of a solid friendship. It lets the person know that you truly care and understand him or her for who they really are. My plan is to find the best gift yet.
Typically when I search for presents the very first place I will start is the mall even though I don't really like it there. The problem with malls is that I never find anything really worth buying. In addition it's always crowded and the prices are never friendly. Even though it's usually where I start, the mall is rarely where I end.
After I fail to find some good and funny gifts at the mall the next place I'll usually start to look is the Internet. The Internet is a good place to shop when you have an idea in mind. Sometimes however; I can find myself searching for hours with no direction. When this happens I'll ask my siblings and my friends for suggestions and sometimes they help other times they don't.
My sister this time though; had great ideas for funny gifts. She told me to check out the website I am a stuffed animal. I visited the site and knew immediately that was the gift to get for my dear friend.
When my friend's birthday arrived and I gave her the gift that I selected from I am a stuffed animal I could tell right away that she loved it. If you ever have a problem finding a gift in the mall you should definitely be checking out the Internet instead.
