Should we have it repaired or is there a warranty to make a claim? So very sorry this has happened as the product seems to be very good.
I love this new edger! It was easy to put together and easy to use. I contacted the shipper who directed me to Black and Decker who referred me to the agent in New Orleans who advised me to bring the edger in for repair. New Orleans is at least 75 miles from my home and it will be a pain in the neck for me to get there. I have to shift it back to the edger position about every 10 feet. Wow, the whole time I was edging, I could only think of one thing: Big Wars. It worked as advertised out of the box. Easy to assemble and operate. I had expected the edger to cut the grass cleanly. If you don't want to deal with gas-powered edger, this is THE ONE.
My wife got this for me as a gift recently. I usually borrowed one from my neighbor or my father every once in a while. Powerful, handles well, easy to use and its performance is excellent. Well worth the price.
I think that people who buy this product will find that it is good value for the money. I got tired of buying gas edgers and having them break down. It's a slight safety concern because if the user momentarily stops to adjust the extension cord it could tip over as they are re-grasping the trigger to start again. All things considered, I love this edger and would definitely buy it again. It cuts fine with straight line but left a very weird shape and does not handle the curve well at all. It cuts the line but cannot remove the grass between the line and the cement/edge. Some of these tips help me get done faster with the job. Keep the power cord over your shoulder so it doesn't fall out all the time.
Great item and works well after we brought a power converter to run on Australian 240v. I cannot blame the supplier as it was up to me to find this out with a question to them used it 2 times works great and I have a lot to edge no problems with power did it job like you would want it too Good edger that is durable (have had for two years and still running like a champ) and does the job. No issues or flaws as far as I am concerned. Previously, I used to do edging with the string edger and spend a lot of time on my side walk and still not clean enough, but now it's like a breeze and I want to do more.
