Are you in need of a new iPad docking station because you broke it? I'm not pointing fingers; I'm just going by what happened to me. The story is a sad one and I was careless, I should be blamed. It pains me to even talk about it. Thankfully, it isn't hard to find a replacement.
The uses of a docking station are endless. Now you can blast music from your MP3 player outside of your house. Now you can save money and never waste on a DJ again. They never play the right songs anyway. You can use the docking station at your house party or catered event.
But let me get back to the real reason of this story. The story of carelessness and being lazy, of how I left my dock station out over night and it was ruined! Leaving things outside at night won't ruin them, but if it suddenly decides to rain over night, that will ruin it forever. My party had been a success and I was exhausted, being the perfect host is hard work. I decided I would clean up the next morning after a good night's sleep. I will never do this again!
The next morning, everything was soaking wet. Luckily nothing was ruined. Then I saw the dock sitting in a puddle. It was done for; never to work again. It was now time to buy a new iPad docking station. It didn't break the bank, but it could have easily been avoided if I wasn't lazy.
I learned my lesson; now I always clean up after my events. I will no longer wait until the morning. My new plan is to start cleaning while the last guests are still there and they actually help you clean up. It is amazing how nice some people can be. Take my advice; they will help you clean too.
