Children are inevitably born into the lives their parents establish for them. One man might run his own business and his son could very well be the next owner. The son of a news broadcaster might very well become a news broadcaster himself. Though this isn't written in stone it lays a path of more probable outcomes than others. My father for example is a diligent salesman but I couldn't sell gloves to an Eskimo with frostbitten fingers. Instead my talents are found in another trade my father is well accomplished at; carpentry. When it came time to fit new nursery furniture in it was a project we completed as a family instead of paying someone else to do it for us.
The basement in our home is in actuality an illegal apartment. It's a great little place for a newly married couple to live because it included a full kitchen. There is also a very spacious living room you could throw a small party in, one bedroom a bathroom and even a walk in closet. The reason it was illegal was because there was only a single way in and out turning it into a fire hazard. Though we never had a fire in time we stopped renting it out due to this fact.
As soon as it turned into an open space no longer being rented out to people it gave our family a chance to expand our living quarters so as fast as the last tenants moved out my sister and her fianc wanted to move in; rent free. The issue then became moving into the dirtiness of previous tenants. With a baby on the way bringing new nursery furniture by Argington down there meant a restructuring of the entire area. That's where I came in. To learn more about Argington; click here.
Since I am the son of a salesman/ carpenter I've acquired little skill in the way of salesmanship but much in the way of remodeling. As a team my father and I were capable of redoing just about the entire basement, save the bathroom. We took out and put down a new linoleum floor in the kitchen along with a new counter and cabinets. We also re-carpeted the living and stripped off the paneling and repainted the bedroom. By the end of it, it turned out to be a very successful project for us.
As it comes down my sister expecting soon we needed to re do the basement so I could house a newborn. It was entirely up to me to move all the new furniture down and make sure it was all as clean as possible. With any luck maybe one day I will move down there to enjoy the fruits of my own labor.
