Initially reluctant to leave his homeland, Shiva arrives at Meluha and falls in love with the perfect nature of life there and only after sometime discovers that he has a bigger part to play in the destiny of Meluha.
He soon finds out that he is the one chosen by the Gods to end the strife between the two warring neighbors as well as put an end to the evil ways of the Nagas. He foils some of the Naga attacks and later in the book also falls in love with the princess of Meluha, a beautiful lady named Sati who also falls in love with him.
The second part of this trilogy, The Secret of the Nagas, released in 2011 and has already become a viral hit mainly due to some smart marketing and publicity that was done during the pre-launch phase of this book. The Secret of the Nagas will begin where the first part, The Immortals of Meluha, ended and will reveal a lot more secrets about the main characters.
